A corporate event is different from a wedding or a birthday. The crowd is different, the dynamic is different and the music needs to work harder to bring people together who might not know each other well. Getting that right takes experience and a DJ who understands the room from the moment they walk in.

I'm George. I've been a professional DJ for over 25 years, starting out in nightclubs and building my career playing residencies in the UK and abroad. I'm an open format DJ which means I can read any room and take it anywhere, from relaxed background music during a drinks reception to a proper dance floor later in the evening. Every set is live, by ear, built around what the room is telling me.

Corporate events I cover include Christmas parties, awards evenings, summer parties, product launches, client entertaining and staff celebrations of all kinds. Whether it's 50 people in a hotel function room or 300 in a marquee, I bring the same professional setup and the same attention to detail.

Before your event we'll talk properly about the format, the audience and the feel you want to create. A Christmas party for a law firm feels different to a summer party for a creative agency and the music should reflect that. I take all of that seriously because it shapes everything I do on the night.

When I set up at your venue, the transformation is immediate. QSC speakers delivering crystal clear sound, Pioneer decks and mixer playing lossless audio so every track sounds exactly as it should. A large DJ booth flanked by illuminated plinths and speaker stands with moving heads and overhead lighting rig. Everything PAT tested and fully insured to £1 million PLI. I always arrive early and dress smartly for every event.

I'm based in Broxbourne and cover corporate events right across Hertfordshire and into London and Essex.

A: Yes. I can provide a wireless microphone for speeches, awards announcements or presentations as part of my setup.

Q: Can you add a Magic Mirror photo booth to our corporate event?

A: Yes. It works brilliantly at corporate events, particularly Christmas parties and awards evenings. My package includes a full backdrop, props table, red carpet, personalised prints and a guest book.
