Privacy Policy

Last updated: 01/10/2026

DJ George Dee ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Who we are

DJ George Dee is a sole trader DJ and events service based in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. For any questions about this policy or your personal data, contact us at djgeorgedee@gmail.com.

What information we collect

When you contact us through this website — via our contact form, enquiry form, Google lead form, or booking form — we may collect:

  • Your name

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • Details about your event (date, type, venue, and anything else you choose to share)

We don't knowingly collect any other personal information, and we never collect payment card details through this website.

Why we collect it

We use this information to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and provide a quote

  • Arrange and manage your booking if you go ahead

  • Keep the records we're required to keep for business and tax purposes

Our legal basis for using it

We process enquiry details on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to people who contact us), and, once you book, to perform our contract with you.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or share your personal data with anyone for marketing. Your information may pass through these service providers, who help us run this website and respond to you:

  • Google — we run Google Ads on this site, including a lead form that may submit enquiries directly through Google, and conversion tracking that tells us an enquiry happened

  • Wix.com — our website hosting and form platform

  • Gmail (Google) — our email provider

These providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they operate under their own data protection safeguards.

How long we keep it

  • If you enquire but don't book, we keep your details for up to 12 months, then delete them.

  • If you book, we keep booking and invoice records for 6 years, as required for UK tax purposes.

  •

Cookies

This site uses cookies associated with Google Ads to measure how our advertising performs. You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you

  • Ask us to correct or delete it

  • Object to how we use it

  • Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data

To exercise any of these, email djgeorgedee@gmail.com.
