Wedding DJ Hertford

Hertford is a town with real character. The county town of Hertfordshire, built around the confluence of four rivers, with a castle, historic streets and some genuinely beautiful wedding venues. Hertford Castle with its grounds running down to the River Lea. Ponsbourne Park, a historic country house venue just outside the town.

If you're getting married in Hertford you've chosen somewhere with genuine history and atmosphere. The evening deserves music that matches it.

I'm George. I'm based in Broxbourne, just a few miles from Hertford, and I've been a professional DJ for over 25 years. I started out in nightclubs and built my career playing residencies in the UK and abroad. I'm an open format DJ which means I can take a room anywhere, from Reggae to House, Disco to Hip Hop, Pop to Chill-out, reading exactly where the crowd wants to go next. Every set is live, by ear, built around what the room is telling me.

Before your day we'll talk properly. Your music, your guests, the songs that mean something to you both. I take all of that seriously because it shapes everything I do on the night.

When I set up in your venue, the transformation is immediate. QSC speakers delivering crystal clear sound, Pioneer decks and mixer playing lossless audio so every track sounds exactly as it should. A large white DJ booth flanked by illuminated plinths and speaker stands, all wrapped in white silk scrims with uplights glowing inside. Moving heads on the plinths and overhead rig, with the American DJ Starburst scattering colour and light across the whole room. For couples who want to go further, I also offer wireless uplighting to transform the entire room. Everything PAT tested and fully insured to £1 million PLI.

I always arrive early and dress smartly for every event.

FAQs

Q: Can you bring a Magic Mirror photo booth to our Hertford wedding?

A: Yes. My package includes a full backdrop, props table, red carpet, personalised prints and a guest book. It works brilliantly alongside the DJ setup and guests of all ages love it throughout the evening.

Q: We're getting married at Hertford Castle. Is that a venue you know?

A: Hertford is right on my patch and I know the area well. I'll always be there early with everything set up and tested before your guests arrive.

Q: We want a really personal evening that reflects us as a couple. How do you deliver that?

A: It starts with our planning conversation. Once I know your music, your crowd and what matters to you both, every decision I make on the night reflects that. Nothing gets played by accident.

Q: How far in advance should we book?

A: As soon as your date is confirmed. Popular Saturdays from May to September book up quickly, sometimes 12 to 18 months ahead, so the sooner you get in touch the better.
