Wedding DJ at Down Hall Hotel
Ask anyone who's been to a wedding at Down Hall Hotel and they'll tell you the place is seriously impressive. A Grade II listed Italian Baroque mansion set in 110 acres of parkland near Bishop's Stortford. It's the kind of venue that sets expectations high from the moment guests arrive.
My job is to make sure the evening lives up to all of that.
I'm George and I've been DJing professionally for over 25 years. In that time I've learned that the best wedding receptions aren't the ones with the biggest sound systems or the flashiest lighting. They're the ones where the DJ actually listens to the couple, understands what they want and delivers it without any drama on the night.
That's exactly how I work. We'll sit down before your day and talk through everything properly. Your music taste, your must-plays, your first dance, the songs that remind you of something. I take all of it in and build your evening around it. Then on the night I handle everything quietly and confidently while you enjoy every minute of your wedding.
I'm based in Broxbourne, a short drive from Down Hall, so early arrival and a relaxed setup is always guaranteed.
QSC speakers, Pioneer decks, American DJ lighting rig, all PAT tested, fully insured to £1 million PLI and always smartly dressed on the day.

FAQs
Q: Down Hall has its own in-house entertainment options. Why should we bring our own DJ?
A: Bringing your own DJ means you get someone who's already spent time getting to know you and your music before the day even starts. I'll have planned your evening with you personally, which makes a real difference to how it feels on the night.
Q: Can you add a photo booth to our Down Hall wedding package?
A: Yes. My Magic Mirror photo booth comes with a full backdrop, props table, red carpet, personalised prints and a guest book. It's always a brilliant addition and works beautifully alongside the DJ setup.
Q: Do you take requests on the night?
A: Always. If someone asks for a track and I've got it, it goes on. After 25 years of collecting music, I've usually got it.
