Wedding DJ at Micklefield Hall
Your wedding day is one of the few occasions in life where everything you've planned either comes together perfectly or falls slightly short of what you imagined. The venue, the food, the atmosphere. The DJ is the difference between a dance floor that stays full all night and one that empties by half nine.
I'm George. I've been a professional DJ for over 25 years, starting out in nightclubs and building my career playing residencies in the UK and abroad. I'm an open format DJ which means I can take a room anywhere, from Reggae to House, Disco to Hip Hop, Pop to Chill-out, reading exactly where the crowd wants to go next. Every set is live, by ear, built around what the room is telling me.
Before your day we'll talk properly. Not a quick email exchange, a real conversation. Your music, your guests, the songs that mean something to you both. I take all of that seriously because it shapes everything I do on the night.
When I set up in your venue, the transformation is immediate. QSC speakers delivering crystal clear sound, Pioneer decks and mixer playing lossless audio so every track sounds exactly as it should. A large white DJ booth flanked by illuminated plinths and speaker stands, all wrapped in white silk scrims with uplights glowing inside. Moving heads on the plinths and overhead rig, with the American DJ Starburst scattering colour and light across the whole room. For couples who want to go further, I also offer wireless uplighting to transform the entire room. Everything PAT tested and fully insured to £1 million PLI.
I always arrive early and dress smartly for every event.

FAQs
Q: Can you bring a Magic Mirror photo booth to Micklefield Hall?
A: Yes. My package includes a full backdrop, props table, red carpet, personalised prints and a guest book. In a stunning barn venue like Micklefield it becomes a real focal point for guests throughout the evening.
Q: The venue has its own sound system. Can you use that instead of bringing your own?
A: I always bring my own setup. My QSC speakers, Pioneer decks and full lighting rig are configured specifically for how I work. It means the sound and atmosphere are exactly what I know they should be.
Q: We're expecting around 150 to 200 guests. Can you handle a crowd that size?
A: Absolutely. My setup is built for larger spaces and after 25 years I know exactly how to read and work a big room. A full barn is one of the best environments to DJ in.
Q: Can you also provide background music during the drinks reception and wedding breakfast?
A: Yes. I can cover the full day from background music during your drinks reception right through to the last song of the evening. Just let me know your timeline and I'll make sure every part of the day sounds exactly right.
