Wedding DJ Hertfordshire

Some decisions you make when planning a wedding barely get a second thought after the day. The DJ is not one of them. Get it right and your guests are still talking about the evening weeks later. Get it wrong and the dance floor empties by nine o'clock and never recovers.

I'm George, a professional DJ based in Hertfordshire with over 25 years of experience. I started out playing nightclubs and built my career through residencies in the UK and abroad. I'm an open format DJ which means I can move between Reggae, House, Disco, Hip Hop, Pop and Chill-out without the room ever losing its energy. Every set is played live, by ear, reading the crowd and responding to what the room is telling me.

Hertfordshire is where I work most. I know its venues well, from the grand country houses and manor hotels to the barn conversions, golf clubs and boutique spaces that sit quietly in the Hertfordshire countryside. Fanhams Hall and Hanbury Manor. Knebworth House and Sopwell House. The Barn at Alswick and Colville Hall. The intimate rooms at Offley Place and the sweeping grounds at Down Hall. Every venue has its own character and I know how to work with that.

Before your day we'll have a proper conversation. Not a quick email exchange asking for a song list. A real conversation about your guests, the music that matters to you both, the feel you want for the evening. I take all of that seriously because it shapes everything I do on the night.

When I set up in your venue, the transformation is immediate. QSC speakers delivering crystal clear sound, Pioneer decks and mixer playing lossless audio so every track sounds exactly as it should. A large DJ booth flanked by illuminated plinths and speaker stands, all wrapped in white silk scrims with uplights glowing inside. Moving heads on the plinths and overhead rig, with the American DJ Starburst scattering colour and light across the whole room.

For couples who want to go further, I also offer wireless uplighting to transform the entire room.
