Wedding DJ at DoubleTree by Hilton Elstree
The DoubleTree by Hilton Elstree sits right in the heart of the Media Quarter, just off the A1 near Elstree Studios. It's a modern, well-equipped venue with flexible banqueting suites that work brilliantly for weddings of up to 220 guests, and it handles everything from intimate ceremonies to large evening receptions under one roof.
I'm George. 25 years as a professional DJ. My background is in clubs, residencies abroad and years of performing at weddings across Hertfordshire and London. I know how to work in modern hotel venues like this one — how to set up cleanly, how to communicate with the venue team and how to make sure the evening flows exactly as the couple planned.
The planning conversation we have before your day is where it all starts. I want to know what music matters to you, what kind of crowd you're bringing, the energy you want to create and the songs that absolutely cannot be played. All of that goes into how I build your evening.
On the night I take care of everything. You won't need to think about the music once.
QSC speakers, Pioneer decks, American DJ lighting rig with moving heads and uplighting, all PAT tested and fully insured to £1 million PLI. Always early, always smartly dressed.
Broxbourne to Borehamwood is a short drive for me so no travel costs and no stress on arrival.

FAQs
Q: Can you bring a Magic Mirror photo booth to DoubleTree Elstree?
A: Yes absolutely. My photo booth package includes a full backdrop, props table, red carpet, personalised prints and a guest book. It works brilliantly in hotel banqueting suites and always goes down a storm with guests of all ages.
Q: The DoubleTree has its own DJ facilities. Do you still bring your own equipment?
A: Always. I bring my full professional setup regardless of what the venue provides. QSC speakers, Pioneer decks and my full lighting rig. I never rely on house equipment because my setup is specifically configured for the best possible sound and lighting quality.
Q: We have guests travelling from London and abroad. Can you cater for an international mix of music tastes?
A: Very much so. With 25 years of music spanning every genre and decade, international crowds are something I genuinely enjoy. Tell me about your guests and we'll put together something that works for everyone.
Q: We're planning a large reception of over 150 guests. Can your setup handle that?
A: Easily. My QSC KW series speakers are professional grade and built for large rooms. Big crowds are something I've been handling since my club days and I know exactly how to fill a room properly.
