Wedding DJ at Offley Place

Let me ask you something. When you think about your wedding evening, what do you actually want it to feel like? Not what you think it should feel like. What do you genuinely want? Relaxed and fun? Proper party energy? A bit of both? That answer is exactly where the planning starts for me.

I'm George. 25 years as a professional DJ. I've played at weddings of every size and style across Hertfordshire and London, and the one thing I've learned is that the couples who have the best evenings are the ones who were specific about what they wanted. Not vague. Specific. Your music, your vibe, your guests.

Offley Place is a beautiful 17th century manor house set in 27 acres of Hertfordshire parkland near Hitchin. It's the kind of venue that works for all sorts of couples, from those wanting an intimate gathering to bigger celebrations of 250 guests and everything in between. Whatever you're planning I'll build an evening around it that fits.

Before your day we'll go through everything together. On the night I handle it all so you can enjoy every minute. QSC speakers, Pioneer decks, American DJ lighting with moving heads and uplighting. All PAT tested, fully insured to £1 million PLI, always dressed smartly.

FAQs

Q: Can you bring a Magic Mirror photo booth to Offley Place?

A: Yes and it works brilliantly at a manor house venue like this. My package includes a full backdrop, props table, red carpet, personalised prints and a guest book. It adds something really special to the evening and guests of all ages love it.

Q: Offley Place hosts everything from intimate weddings to 250 guest receptions. Does your setup scale accordingly?

A: Absolutely. Whether you're hosting 40 people or 250 I'll configure the sound and lighting to suit the space properly. Bigger crowds actually work in my favour given my background in clubs.

Q: We've been to weddings where the DJ played it safe all night. How do you avoid that?

A: By actually talking to you beforehand rather than relying on a generic wedding playlist. I build every set around the specific couple and their crowd. Safe is boring and boring is not what I do.

Q: Do you have experience with outdoor ceremony music as well as the evening reception?

A: Yes. I can cover ceremony music, drinks reception background music and the full evening. Just share your timeline and I'll make sure every part of the day sounds exactly right.
