Wedding DJ at Hotel Cromwell Stevenage
The evening reception is the moment where the wedding stops being an event and starts being a memory. The ceremony, the meal, the speeches, all of those have a structure and a script. But the moment the dance floor opens, that's entirely down to the music and the person playing it.
I'm George. I've been a professional DJ for over 25 years, starting out in nightclubs and building my career playing residencies in the UK and abroad. I'm an open format DJ which means I can take a room anywhere, from Reggae to House, Disco to Hip Hop, Pop to Chill-out, reading exactly where the crowd wants to go next. Every set is live, by ear, built around what the room is telling me.
Before your day we'll talk properly. Your music, your guests, the songs that mean something to you both. I take all of that in and build the evening around it.
QSC speakers, Pioneer decks, American DJ lighting rig with moving heads and uplighting, all PAT tested, fully insured to £1 million PLI. I always arrive early and dress smartly for every event.

FAQs
Q: Can you bring a Magic Mirror photo booth to Hotel Cromwell?
A: Yes. My package includes a full backdrop, props table, red carpet, personalised prints and a guest book. It works brilliantly alongside the DJ setup and guests of all ages love it throughout the evening.
Q: The hotel has its own sound system. Do you still bring your own setup?
A: I always bring my own. My QSC speakers and Pioneer decks are configured exactly how I work and guarantee the sound quality I know your evening deserves.
Q: We want an intimate wedding with around 60 to 80 guests. Is that your kind of crowd?
A: Absolutely. Smaller weddings often produce the most electric evenings. Everyone knows each other, the energy builds quickly and when the right track drops at the right moment it feels incredible.
Q: How do you keep a mixed age group all happy on the same dance floor?
A: That's where 25 years of open format DJing really counts. I've got a library covering every decade and genre imaginable and I know how to blend them so the floor stays full all night without it feeling like a compromise for anyone.
