Wedding DJ at Sheene Mill
Some venues make you feel something the moment you walk in. Sheene Mill is one of them. A 16th century Grade II listed mill house sitting on the River Mel, with exposed beams, open fireplaces, a riverside wedding pavilion and ten boutique bedrooms on site. It's the kind of place that does most of the work for you when it comes to atmosphere. My job is to take that atmosphere and run with it.
I'm George. 25 years as a professional DJ, starting in clubs and residencies abroad and building into years of weddings across Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and London. I love playing at character venues like Sheene Mill because the warmth is already there. It just needs the right music to bring it to life.
What makes me different from a DJ who just turns up is the preparation.
We'll have a proper conversation before your day, go through exactly what you want, what your guests are like, what kind of evening you're hoping to create. I take all of that seriously and I deliver on it.
QSC speakers, Pioneer decks, American DJ lighting with moving heads and uplighting, all PAT tested and fully insured to £1 million PLI. Always smartly dressed, always on site well ahead of time.

FAQs
Q: Can you bring a Magic Mirror photo booth to Sheene Mill?
A: Yes. My photo booth package includes a full backdrop, props table, red carpet, personalised prints and a guest book. In a venue as characterful as Sheene Mill it creates a brilliant focal point and guests of all ages absolutely love it.
Q: Sheene Mill has both indoor and outdoor ceremony options. Can you cover music for both?
A: Yes. Whether your ceremony is outside at the riverside pavilion or inside the mill itself, I can provide appropriate sound for the ceremony, the drinks reception and the full evening. Just tell me your timeline and I'll work around it.
Q: The venue is quite intimate with a capacity of around 110 for the ceremony. Does that affect your setup?
A: Actually it works in your favour. Smaller, more intimate rooms mean the sound feels more enveloping and personal. I'll calibrate everything carefully so the music fills the space perfectly without overpowering it.
Q: What if we want some songs that are a bit unusual or not typical wedding fare?
A: I'd encourage it. The best evenings have personality. If you want something unexpected in there, tell me and I'll make it work. After 25 years of collecting music I've got a lot to draw from.
